Introduction
When you are hiring and onboarding staff, ensuring that new team members feel supported and connected to their manager and team is critical to long term engagement and retention.
Laudio keep tracks the progression of your New Hires and prompts you when it's time to check in using targeted questionnaires that provide insights for your conversations with your staff and identify their needs.
The New Hire Check in is a conversation between the manager and team member. You may choose to send out the embedded InForm to collect insight from the team member before meeting. You may also document any insights from your conversation with the team member in a note. All actions are found in the New Hire Check in Recommendation.
Leaders will be prompted to check in at 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 6 months, 9 months, and one year.
Step-by-Step Tutorial
1. Laudio Leaders will find a Recommendation on their homepage highlighting any upcoming New Hires who are due for a Check in. Scroll through your Top Recommendations to find this notification.
2. If you choose to collect some feedback/insight from your team members before meeting, click "Send Message." (You may click on "Preview Questions" to review the InForm questions you're sending.)
3. Choose the team member you'd like to reach out to. If you select more than one, they will receive individual emails.
4. You may modify the text in the Send Message window but do not change the embedded link.
5. Click "Log in Profile & Proceed to Outlook" when ready to send the email to your team member via your email application
6. The team member can complete their New Hire Check in Inform (seen below) on a phone, tablet, or desktop computer. They do not need to log in to Laudio
7. When you meet with the team member you may reference their responses. All InForm responses will be found on the team member's profile under "Activity."
8. If you choose to capture additional insights from the interaction in a note, click "Add Note" on the New Hire Check in Recommendation. (You may create your own template for this note by clicking "Select Template" and "Add New")
9. When you've completed the Check in, click "Complete" on the New Hire Check in Recommendation and select the team member to complete.

1) Go to the InForms toolbar and click "More Actions" and "Settings" on your chosen InForm
