Create a Laudio Shortcut on your laptop or mobile device

Laudio is accessible on any device where you can access the internet. Open Laudio on your desktop or mobile device quickly and easily by creating a shortcut to your home screen. 

Desktop/Laptop shortcut

1. Open the browser of your choice (ideally Edge or Chrome) and navigate to your Laudio URL. 
2. Once you arrive at the login screen, you can hit the star to the right of the URL to bookmark the page for easy access.
3. To add an icon on your desktop, shrink the size of your window, click on the icon on the left of the URL and drag it to your desktop.  Laudio will now appear like other applications on your computer that you access regularly. 
   
   
   
   

On a mobile device

If using Safari on an iPhone:

1. Navigate to your Laudio page using your specific URL.

2. Click the icon on the bottom, then select "add to homescreen."

If using Chrome on an iPhone:

**The Chrome app will not allow you to add a shortcut to the home screen directly, so you'll need to use the Shortcuts app which is automatically installed on Iphones 12 and later, and any phone using OS 12 or later)

1. Launch the Shortcuts App 

2. Tap on the + icon at the top-right corner of your screen to create a shortcut

3. Next, tap on Add Action

4. Type “Safari” in the search bar and scroll down to the “Actions” category.

5. Here, choose “Open Links” action, as shown below.

6. Now, tap on the “URL” part of the Safari card to proceed to the next step.

7. Type “googlechrome://” followed by the website URL of organization's Laudio site. For example, "googlechrome://www.hospital.laudio.com" where "hospital" is replaced by your organization's handle. If you don't know this url, reach out to support@laudio.com for help

8. Once you’re done, tap the triple-dot icon to continue.

9. Name for your shortcut (e.g. "Laudio") and tap Add to Home Screen
