Editing an InForm Template

InForms help frontline leaders collect consistent information from their teams. Editing a template allows updates to questions, wording, and structure so the form aligns with specific workflows.

How to Edit an InForm Template

1. From the left navigation, click InForms. Then select the form to modify. If the form is not listed, click Add New InForm and locate the desired template.

2. Click the selected InForm and click Manage Questions.

3. Review the list of questions. Hover over a question and click to edit.

4. Update the question as needed:
  • Edit wording
  • Change the question type

Use the icons in the bottom right of each question to:

  • Reorder questions
  • Delete a question
  • Upload a file
  • Mark a question as required

Note: If the InForm already has responses saved, existing questions cannot be edited. To make updates in this case, hide the existing question and then create a new question with the updated content.

5. Review the InForm settings and update the template wording shown when selecting Collect Responses, if needed.

6. Click Collect Responses to send the form to team members by email. Other options for sharing include:

  • Sending a link for anonymous responses
  • Sharing a QR code

Q: Why can’t questions be edited in my InForm?
A: Editing is disabled if responses already exist. Hide the question and add a new one instead.
