InForm Distribution and Data Collection Methods

This article explains how to distribute InForms among team members and outlines best practices for collecting data. It covers four methods: email, public link, QR code, and by adding responses directly through the user interface.

Email

  1. On the left-hand navigation bar, click InForms.

  3. A pop-up window with an email will populate where you can chose the email recipient within the "To" field (this can be any individual or group within your organization).

  4. Click Send InForm on the bottom right-hand side.

Public Link

  1. On the left-hand navigation bar, click InForms.

  2. Click the "..." to the right of the form and click Share Public Link.

  3. The link will be copied to the clipboard and can be pasted wherever needed.

QR Code

  1. On the left-hand navigation bar, click InForms.

  2. Click the "..." to the right of the form, and click Generate a QR Code.

  3. A new tab will open with the QR code available to share or print.

Adding Responses in User Interface

  1. On the left-hand navigation bar, click InForms.

  2. Click "Add Response" on the right on the form.

  3. The form will populate on the next page. Fill in the responses to each question and click Submit Responses on the bottom of the page when complete.

FAQs

Q: If a leader sends an InForm via email and a team member responds, can the leader see their responses?
A: Yes. When a team member completes an InForm sent via email, the leader automatically receives an email notification with a link to review the response.

Q: If a leader adds a note to an InForm response submitted via email, will the team member see that note?
A: It depends. When adding a supplemental note, the leader can choose whether the team member can see it by clicking or unclicking the "eye" icon.
