How to Utilize Patient Rounding: Scripts & Tasks

How to Add a Script

1. Select the "Patient Rounding" Workflow option (The tracker feature will appear)

2. Select the "Scripts" tab

3. Click the "Add New Script" button

4. You have three options from here: you can build your script from scratch, you can use a organization-wide template, or use Laudio templates (either "Due for Discharge" or "Recently Admitted")

5. If you were to select "Recently Admitted", you would see a preview of the questions that are already available within this script (this should remind you of using InForms)

6. When you're ready to begin, select "Use Template" in the top righthand corner 

7. You can also always add a collaborator to a script if you need to by typing in another leader's name when prompted, if not, click the X button and the window will close

8. After submitting the script, you will return to the "Manage Questions" section of the "Scripts" page where you can you're able to manage the questions available in this script before you actually start using it and filling it out

9. To the right of the "Manage Questions" tab, there is a "Settings" section where you are able to adjust the settings for the script before you send it out

Tasks

Allows leaders to see all of the tasks added or assigned by a particular user

1. Select the "Tasks" tab

2. Here you can view and manage all added and assigned tasks

3. Click the "Add Task" button to create a task

There are multiple features to adjust when creating a task:

  • The "Description" section: describe what the task is about
  • The "Relates to" field: add the task to a team member profile page if it relates to a particular team member
  • The "Assigned to" section: manage who the task pertains to (it should default to the leader logged in, "Maggie Smith" is logged in on the demo account) 
  • Select the "Add Workflow" icon: if you would like the task to relate to another available Laudio workflow

  • To the right, we have the "Add due date" icon which you can select if you would like to be reminded of this task in the future, Laudio will prompt a top recommendation on your homepage with this task three days before the date you have chosen

  • The next icon is "Add Priority" which allows you to label the task as high, medium, or low priority

11. The final icon is "Add Tags" which allows you to assign either Laudio generated or personally generated tags to the task

12. The “Filter” button allows you to filter the way you view your tasks by due date, priority, team member, and assignee (hit save as default at the bottom to save your adjustments)


13. The “Pending” button on the top right shows the default filter setting assigned in the filter button. 


14. Under the task workflow you are able to take action on all of the tasks created

  • Under take action you are able to add a note as you would a recommendation
  • Under “Other actions” (the … button), you can send a message, edit the task, ignore the task, or delete it
  • The “Complete” button asserts that the task is complete and allows Laudio to update and removes it from your running task list
