Q: How do I login to Laudio on my phone or computer?
A: Open a browser window and go to “myhospital”.laudio.com and use your network credentials to login. On the desktop Laudio works with all browsers, but Chrome is preferred.
Q: How do I save Laudio as a favorite / bookmark?
A: Once on the Laudio homepage, click the “star” icon (it is to the far right of the web address bar.) In the dropdown either select “Favorites Bar” or “Bookmarks Bar”
A: Once on the Laudio homepage, minimize your screen, click the “lock” icon (it is to the left of the web address bar). Hold down the lock icon and drag it over to your desktop.
Q: How do I add a user to Laudio?
A: Reach out to support@laudio.com with the full name and role of the user to be added.
Q: If I move to a new position, with direct reports, will I have to start over in Laudio?
A: No, you will still have access, but your reporting structure will update to show your new role, department, and reports!
Q: When I need support on using Laudio, who do I reach out to?

Q: How do I reference back to something I was taught when using Laudio?

Q: How do I ensure my messages are sent from Laudio to team members?
A: If you are running into issues sending messages from Laudio, you can confirm in your computer’s settings that Outlook is selected as the default email client. Instructions found here.
Top Recommendations -
Q: What are Top Recommendations in Laudio?
A: Top Recommendations are a list of 10-15 insights Laudio is suggesting you to take action upon each week. These insights are curated from data taken from your HR & scheduling systems presented as opportunities (or, recommendations) for engaging with your team - by recognizing them, celebrating them, acknowledging a T&A trend, and more.
Q: If I ignore a recommendation (because it’s not relevant), does the denominator change in my speedometer view?
A: Ignored removes from feed and you don't receive credit on your speedometer for this.
Q: How do I re-enable an Ignored Top Recommendation?
A: Click on your name in the top right, click on settings, then click Ignored Recommendations. From there you are able to re-enable any Recommendations missed.
Q: How do I complete or remove recommendations from my Laudio feed?
A: Click the check mark to “complete” the recommendation or the X to “ignore” and it will be removed from your view.
Q: How long does it take for a Top Recommendation to fall off of my feed after I ignore it?
A: You should not see similar Recommendations the next refresh.
Q: How do I send a message to someone not on My Team?
A: By using Take Action at the top of your Laudio homepage, choose an interaction, click “send a message”, and “select group” or type in the name of that team member to send emails to members outside your reports. However, this will not count towards your speedometer/actions.
Q: As a manager, see who I haven’t interacted with recently?
A: Filter your Speedometer (Activity Tracker) to “actions taken”. This will sort your speedometer to show least to most actions by direct reports.
Q: How do I add my own message template to Laudio?
A: Under Take Action choose an interaction, click send a message, then click “select template” at the top. You can click “add new” to start drafting your own message template to use when in Laudio.
Q: How do I group my direct reports in Laudio? For example, if I wanted to send a message to just my day shift reports.
A: When sending a message in Laudio, in the “to” field click on select group to the right. From your list of direct reports, select all of the team members you want in the group, then click “save as group”.
Q: How do I see just my direct reports Top Recommendations on my Laudio feed?
A: On your feed, to the right of “Laudio’s Top Recommendations”, click the quick filter. This allows you to select “my direct reports” or re-filter your feed.
Q: When I add a note for a direct report will other managers be able to view it?
A: Yes. Adding a note from Take Action or Laudio’s Recommendations will add that note to the team member profile page for anyone who has access to the team member to view.
Q: How do I add a follow-up task so Laudio reminds me again?
A: On the Top Recommendation you are actioning, in the message box, the 3rd icon (alarm clock) is “add follow-up task”.
Q: How do I get the full image of my ecard and not just a link?
A: When adding an ecard, click “copy ecard” and then paste the ecard into your Outlook email window, NOT Laudio.
Q: How can I best utilize Top Recommendations in Laudio?

InForms
Q: What are InForms in Laudio?
A: InForms are highly-customizable questionnaires. Leaders use InForms to gather information or feedback from their team. Laudio offers a variety of templates they can use, edit, and send to their staff.
Q: Can I add responses to an InForm without sending it out?
A: Yes! Click the plus sign
Q: How do I edit/manage the questions in an InForm?
A: Click “add new inform” at the top left, then select a Laudio templated InForm or start from scratch. Once selected, click use template and click into any white space around the question to manage it.
Q: Can I add another leader who is not on Laudio as a collaborator to an InForm?
A: No, the other leader has to be an active Laudio user.
Q: Can I add my own template to InForms?
A: Yes! You can do so from selecting the start from scratch option.
Q: Can I add a collaborator to an InForm after I start using it?
A: Yes, you can!
Q: Can I receive Top Recommendations for an InForm?
A: Yes, you can enable this feature under settings for the InForm.
Q: Can I send out automated reminders?
A: Yes, you can enable this under settings for the InForm. You can set the cadence and Laudio will send out the reminder to the team members who have not responded.
Q: How do I send an InForm in Laudio?
A: There are 3 ways to send an InForm in Laudio!
- Option 1: click “Collect Responses” at the top right when under InForms.
- Option 2: Click More Actions (three dots at top right, next to “add inform response”) and click “Share public link” or “Generate QR code”
Audits
Q: What are Audits in Laudio?
A: Audits are typically completed manually, on paper. However, using the Audits feature in Laudio helps save leaders time by being able to complete the audit process within a centralized system. Audits are mobile accessible, with no form fill and multiple choice questions ensuring that the data you are collecting is actionable and can be shared for employee coaching & performance improvement.
Q: What is the audits dashboard?
A: The audits dashboard is where you may come into Laudio as a leader and view the total audits completed and the average audit score for your department.
Q: How do I create an audit form?
A: Click the “Audits” feature on the left under workflows, click “add audit” in the top right, select “add new” to see all featured templated audits or create your own from scratch.
Q: Can I share audits results with the team member?
A: Yes! Click “audit forms”, select the audit form you want to share, then select the team member you want to share, then click “share”.
Q: Can I export the information from the audits dashboard?
A: Yes, you can!
Q: How can I best utilize Audits in Laudio?
A: Create a new audits form in Laudio, add other leaders as collaborators, set a department percentage goal, and then use the actionable results to meet department goals.
Time & Attendance
Q: What is Time & Attendance in Laudio?
A: The time and attendance feature helps users stay on top of their employees time and make sure they aren’t violating any policies. It is helpful for them to track before their employees get paid. While currently we only focus on policy violations, in the future we will also include overtime in the feature.
Q: How does Laudio receive the Time and Attendance information?
A: We sync with your hospital’s scheduling system to pull this in.
Q: Can I filter the Time and Attendance for my whole team?
A: Yes, click the quick filter button (far right) above T&A column, then select “needs attention” or “perfect attendance”.
Q: How can I adjust any incorrect data I am seeing under Time and Attendance?

Employee Rounding
Q: What is Employee Rounding in Laudio?
A: Laudio's Employee Rounding workflow enables users to easily track and capture Rounding interactions (also known as leader rounding, one-on-ones, or employee check-ins) with built in tools for documenting notes, tracking metrics, following up on tasks, and sharing results.
Q: How do I change the frequency of when I round on my team?
A: This can be changed by clicking settings under Employee Rounding.
Q: How do I ignore a team member during a round?
A: Click more actions (three dots) to the far right of the team member’s name, then click “ignore”.
Q: Can I change the questions that pop up when I click add note?
A: Yes! You can manage the questions under settings under Employee Rounding.
Q: Can I send the Employee Rounding InForm in bulk?
A: Yes! You can multi-select or select all by clicking the box to the left of the team member’s names.
Q: Can I export the notes from Employee Rounding?
A: Yes! When under the Employee Rounding workflow, click notes at the top, then export.
Take Action/ Speedometer
Q: What is the Speedometer in Laudio?
A: A visual representation of the actions taken within Laudio that gives a leader the ability to see how teams/managers are contributing to the cost center.
Q: Can I reset my Speedometer so I can start over?
A: No, not at this time.
Q: What actions count toward my speedometer directly?
A: Tasks relating to others completed by yourself, Adding a note, sending a message based on Laudio Recommendations, sending a message based on on your own observation, Adding a peer feedback note, Adding an employee rounding note, Sending a message in T&A or Mandatories, completing a new hire check-in based on Laudio Recommendations.
Q: What is broken down in the turnover risk score for each team member?
A: Using data points from 11,266 nurses across health systems in the US, we use demographic and behavior-based attributes of an employee to identify correlation with turnover.
- Demographic: age, tenure, unit/specialty, FTE status
- Behavior: clocking out late, floating to other units, working with new/less tenured colleagues, etc.
Q: What does low, medium, and high mean for team members in Laudio?
A: Predictive analytics collect a turnover risk category for each employee: low, medium, or high and Laudio recommends different levels of interactions for each category.
- Low Risk = Manager should target 1 meaningful interaction every 90 days.
- Medium Risk = Manager should target 2 meaningful interactions every 90 days.
- High Risk = Manager should target 3 meaningful interactions every 90 days.
Q: How can I best utilize my Speedometer in Laudio?
A: Use your team member’s individual speedometers as a starting gauge for how often you should be engaging with this team member.
My Team / Mini SlideOut / Team Member Profile page
Q: What is My Team in Laudio?
A: The My Team page in Laudio connects with your HRIS system to bring you an in-depth overview of your team members and their related data points, in a centralized place.
Q: How do I add the missing information for a team member under My Team?
A: When you click the empty space under a column, you can manually edit the information for a direct report in their mini slide out profile. You can also gather the missing information by sending a Laudio InForm.
Q: How can I add or remove a team member from My Team?
A: Laudio will add or remove team members after 24 hours, once it has been updated in your HR system.
Q: What do I do if I am missing a team member from my list and it has been more than 24 hours?
A: Email support@laudio.com so we can assist in correcting this!
Q: Can I edit the information under My team?
A: Yes! You can edit/add any information under “overview” or “professional development” for your team members/
Q: What does the green circle mean around a team member’s picture?
A: This indicates the team member is currently working.
Q: Can I remove columns from My Team?
A: You can filter the columns you would like to see when you are on the My Team page by clicking “columns” at the top right. Then click “save as default”.
Q: Can I filter how I see my team members under My Team?
A: Yes! Click “team members” above your first member's name and then select how you would like to sort. Clicking on any of the column headers will sort the list!
Q: Can I export the information under My Team?
A: Yes! All the information for your team members on this page can be exported.
Q: Where does this team member information come from?
A: Laudio is synced with your HR system to pull this information in directly so you can view it in a centralized place.
Q: I am not able to see a full list of my team members. It only shows my direct reports and managers.
A: This happens when you are a leader of leaders! To view a full list of your team members with their information, click on either your direct reports or any of your managers.
Q: How do I edit Time and Attendance and Mandatories for a team member?
A: We sync directly with your systems for this information so they cannot be edited in Laudio. It must first update in your system.
Q: Can I add any additional options in the drop down for professional development information?
A: Please reach out internally to your health system about adding any additional options.
Q: If a manager leaves, will the next manager see the previous manager’s notes, messages etc for the team member?
A: Yes, they will.
Q: How can I best utilize My Team in Laudio?
A: This is helpful for many processes, including: employee reviews, engagement reviews, succession planning, speciality certifications, collated view of birthdays
