Patient Rounding Overview

Patient Rounding in Laudio helps leaders connect with patients, capture real time feedback, and take action to improve the patient experience. This workflow brings patient experience, quality, and safety insights into one place, making it easier to follow up on concerns and recognize team members.

Accessing Patient Rounding

  1. On the left side of the homepage, click Patient Rounding.

  2. When the Patient Rounding workflow opens, there are three different tabs. 

    • Tracker – View a list of patients based on a real time ADT (admission, discharge, and transfer) feed from Epic. 
    • Dashboard – View data trends and completion metrics.

    • Scripts/Forms – Access (or edit) rounding scripts/forms.

Q: Who has access to Patient Rounding?
A: Only leaders with rounding responsibilities can see this data. Patients and frontline staff do not have access.

Q: Can I use Patient Rounding to recognize team members?
A: Absolutely. Patient feedback can be turned into recognition on the spot, helping you celebrate and encourage staff while documenting a patient round.

Q: How do I monitor trends in patient experience?
A: Use data visualization tools within the dashboard, or the Data Insights tab in an individual script or patient rounding form.
