Search for Patients in the Patient Rounding Tracker

Patients can be searched for directly within the Patient Rounding Tracker, making it easier to quickly locate a specific patient and review relevant rounding information.

Key Benefits: 

  • Quickly find patients who need follow-up rounding.

  • Review previous rounds and service recovery activities for a specific patient.

  • Save time when locating individual patients within the tracker.

How to Search for a Patient

  1. Click the Search field at the top of the Patient Rounding Tracker.
  2. Enter the patient's name.
    1. Note: Beginning in early August, users will be able to search for patients by name across all departments. In addition, patients can be searched for using their Medical Record Number (MRN).
  3. Select the patient from the search results to view their rounding history and details.

A: Currently, patient search results are limited based on the selected department. Beginning in August 2026, patients can be searched by name across all departments.
