Using User-Level Leaderboards

The user level leaderboard helps leaders understand engagement patterns, activity levels, and team trends by individual platform users. These insights support timely and meaningful actions that strengthen team connection and reduce turnover.

All the metrics are calculated over a rolling 90-day period, except for 'Actions - trend' which is current vs past rolling 30 days.

Data definitions

Facility
The leader's reporting facility.

Department
All departments the leader oversees along with the total headcount for each department.

User's Manager
Manager that the user directly reports to.

User
Laudio application provisioned manager for whom all the metrics get calculated.

Headcount
The count of all active employees within the user's reporting structure.

User's time since first login (weeks)
The number of weeks since the user first logged into Laudio. This helps identify when a leader first gained access to Laudio and/or how long they have been active on the platform.

Active user % (rolling 30 days)
A user is considered active when they have logged into Laudio at least once in the past rolling 30 day period.

Laudio Action Index (rolling 90 days)
This is the average speedometer score across team members over the past rolling 90 days. The Laudio Action Index, or speedometer, represents the percentage of recommended, team-member–centric actions that were completed. Recommendations are generated based on each team member’s turnover risk (listed below). The combined recommended actions across team members form the total action target used to calculate the index. Leaders can take more actions in the platform than recommended and in those cases, the percentage will exceed 100%.

  • High turnover risk: 3 recommended actions every 90 days

  • Medium turnover risk: 2 recommended actions every 90 days

  • Low turnover risk: 1 recommended action every 90 days

User contribution to Laudio Action Index (rolling 90 days)
The percentage of completed team-member–centric actions in the past rolling 90 days that were completed by the individual user for their reports. Since the Laudio Action Index measures engagement at the team member level, this metric shows how much that specific leader contributed to the overall score for their team members.

Actions taken (rolling 90 days)
The total number of actions completed for a user's direct reports by any user in the past 90 days.

User's number of actions (Rolling 90 days)
The total number of team-member–centric actions the user personally completed for their direct reports in the past rolling 90 days. This is a raw count and is not compared to the total number of recommended actions.

Actions trend (Current vs Past Rolling 30 days)
The trend showing how action volume in the most recent 30 days compares to the prior 30 day period for the entire team. Upward green arrow means actions increased by at least twenty five percent. Downward green arrow means actions decreased by at least twenty five percent. Grey line means actions remained within a range of minus twenty five percent to plus twenty five percent.

Birthdays and anniversaries addressed (rolling 90 days)
The percent of birthdays and work anniversary messages sent to team members compared to the count of team members with birthdays or anniversaries in the past 90 days.

New hire check-in compliance (rolling 90 days)
This percentage shows the completion rate of new hire check-ins over the past 90 days, based on the number of completed check-ins compared to the total expected.

NOTES: This "User Leaderboard" includes all users in the Laudio including assistant managers and supervisors. Rows with lighter shade text are the users who do not have direct reports and are provisioned to help their managers e.g. Charge Nurse.

All the metrics are calculated over a rolling 90-day period, except for 'Actions - trend' which is current vs past rolling 30 days.
