Your Laudio homepage offers several widgets to help you organize and recognize impactful milestones for your team members such as birthdays, work anniversaries, new hire check-ins, and employee rounding. They are visible in the middle of your homepage view.
Birthdays/Work Anniversaries
- Click on the widget and a slide out will appear.
- Hover over the employee's name and action buttons will appear to the right - send a message or add a note.
You are able to filter these by date, your direct reports, or unactioned items (meaning even if another manager sent a message, you can too!) - To send a message, click the email icon, and a tailored message will appear. Edit as you would like.
- If you have M365 connected, you will have the option to "schedule send" on their actual milestone date prior to sending.
- If you want to schedule the send, select the milestone date or enter your preferred date, then hit "Send message."
If you do not see the option to delay send in Laudio, you can delay the send from your Outlook account once the Outlook window appears. Refer to the article delay send for non M365 users for additional support.
New Hire Check-ins
Laudio triggers new-hire check-ins at 30, 60, 90 days, and 6, 9, and 12 months. NOTE: This may have been customized by your organization during implementation to match your organizational initiatives. Laudio offers you a variety of ways to engage with your new hires.
- Click on the "New hire check-ins" widget, then hover over the team member name for action buttons to appear.
- To send a message, click on the email icon. A prepopulated message will appear with an InForm (questionaire) link included to gather feedback from the team member ahead of your conversation. Alter the message as you wish prior to sending by using the current InForm link or selecting a new one you created.
If you are using M365 to connect to your email, you will hit "Send message."
If your organization allows it, you have the option to customize the new hire check-in templates prior to sending to your team to ensure you are asking relevant and top of mind questions for your area of service. You can view and modify them from InForms. View our article edit an InForm template for more information.
If you would like additional information about the check-in and when it is due, click the check in period.
3. To add a note, click on the note icon and document a conversation you had 1:1 with the team member. You can use the templated questions or simply remove and document your own thoughts. This information will be saved on the team members profile page.
4. You have the option to mark the check-in complete once all of your follow-ups have occurred.
