Top Recommendations FAQs

Q: What are Top Recommendations in Laudio?

A: Top Recommendations are a list of 10-15 insights Laudio is suggesting you to take action upon each week. These insights are curated from data taken from your HR & scheduling systems presented as opportunities (or, recommendations) for engaging with your team - by recognizing them, celebrating them, acknowledging a T&A trend, and more.

Q: If I ignore a recommendation (because it’s not relevant), does the denominator change in my speedometer view?

A: Ignored removes from feed and you don't receive credit on your speedometer for this.

Q: How do I re-enable an Ignored Top Recommendation?

A: Click on your name in the top right, click on settings, then click Ignored Recommendations. From there you are able to re-enable any Recommendations missed.

Q: How do I complete or remove recommendations from my Laudio feed?

A: Click the check mark to “complete” the recommendation or the X to “ignore” and it will be removed from your view.

Q: How long does it take for a Top Recommendation to fall off of my feed after I ignore it?

A: You should not see similar Recommendations the next refresh.

Q: How do I send a message to someone not on My Team?

A: By using Take Action at the top of your Laudio homepage, choose an interaction, click “send a message”, and “select group” or type in the name of that team member to send emails to members outside your reports. However, this will not count towards your speedometer/actions.

Q: As a manager, see who I haven’t interacted with recently?

A: Filter your Speedometer (Activity Tracker) to “actions taken”. This will sort your speedometer to show least to most actions by direct reports.

Q:  How do I add my own message template to Laudio?

A: Under Take Action choose an interaction, click send a message, then click “select template” at the top. You can click “add new” to start drafting your own message template to use when in Laudio.

Q: How do I group my direct reports in Laudio? For example, if I wanted to send a message to just my day shift reports.

A: When sending a message in Laudio, in the “to” field click on select group to the right. From your list of direct reports, select all of the team members you want in the group, then click “save as group”.

Q: How do I see just my direct reports Top Recommendations on my Laudio feed?

A: On your feed, to the right of  “Laudio’s Top Recommendations”, click the quick filter. This allows you to select “my direct reports” or re-filter your feed.

Q: When I add a note for a direct report will other managers be able to view it?

A: Yes. Adding a note from Take Action or Laudio’s Recommendations will add that note to the team member profile page for anyone who has access to the team member to view.

Q: How do I add a follow-up task so Laudio reminds me again?

A: On the Top Recommendation you are actioning, in the message box, the 3rd icon (alarm clock) is “add follow-up task”.

Q: How do I get the full image of my ecard and not just a link?

A: When adding an ecard, click “copy ecard” and then paste the ecard into your Outlook email window, NOT Laudio.
