Seasonal Product Release - September 16, 2026

New Features

Bulk Actions. Bulk Actions introduces a faster, more streamlined way for leaders to move through routine actions across Nudges, Rounding, and email communications. Instead of handling each item one at a time, leaders can now take action on multiple records in a single step, dramatically reducing the time spent on repetitive workflow tasks and making daily follow‑ups more efficient. This enhancement brings consistency across key workflows whether leaders are responding to Nudges, sending follow‑up messages, or closing out rounding items.

First Year Journey. First Year Journey introduces a dedicated, full‑year workflow for new‑hire check‑ins, giving leaders a structured and consistent path for the conversations, milestones, and follow‑ups that support new team members from pre‑start through their first year. Rather than creating a separate onboarding module, First Year Journey extends the existing new‑hire check‑in workflow across key dimensions (timelines, action sets, populations) to create a more complete and configurable experience.

By building on the familiar new‑hire check‑in foundation, First Year Journey keeps leaders inside one cohesive workflow while unlocking a richer, longitudinal view of each new hire’s experience. This creates a continuous feedback record that goes far beyond the limitations of a short‑interval model, helping leaders maintain momentum, reinforce expectations, and ensure timely support throughout the entire first year.

Overtime Workflow. The new Overtime Workflow gives leaders clear, real‑time visibility into incremental overtime across the early clock‑ins, late clock‑outs, and missed breaks that quietly add up over time. Instead of discovering overtime only after it appears on a payroll report, leaders can now spot these patterns as they emerge and intervene before they become costly or contribute to burnout.

This workflow helps leaders identify team members who may need support with leaving on time or taking appropriate breaks, and it highlights trends across the team so leaders can understand where overtime is accumulating and why. The Overtime Workflow lives in the Time and Attendance module and is designed to complement existing systems like UKG and Kronos — Laudio surfaces the insights, while schedule and payroll changes continue in the system of record. Outlook Notes Add-In. The Outlook Notes Add‑In lets leaders turn any email into a Laudio note directly from Outlook, with the subject, body, tags, and team members pulled in automatically. There’s no copying, pasting, or separate login as the add‑in removes the friction that normally keeps email‑based context from ever making its way into Laudio.

This capability builds on Notes and Messages, two of the most‑used surfaces in Laudio. By eliminating the need to switch tools or retype information, the add‑in ensures more of the meaningful context leaders already act on in email becomes part of the team member’s record in Laudio..

🔧 Improvements

Performance Insights Updates. Performance Insights now provides one unified performance summary for every team member, giving leaders a clearer, more streamlined view of overall performance without jumping between separate categories. The summary blends multiple inputs into a single narrative, including disciplinary actions, peer feedback, and self‑evaluations — each adding important context that helps leaders understand how a team member is performing, how they collaborate, and how they view their own progress.

By consolidating these sources, Performance Insights reduces manual review and creates a more consistent foundation for coaching, development conversations, and performance evaluations. You can find Performance Insights on a team member’s profile page, where the new overall summary appears alongside category‑level details. AI Assistant Updates*. The updated AI Assistant provides a single, smart conversational entry point for Laudio platform support and leadership best practices; now easier to access, more context‑aware, and designed to help users get the information they need right away. The Assistant has moved to the top right corner of the platform, making it available on every page and ready whenever a question comes up.

The improved experience offers a more intuitive conversational flow for platform guidance, policy questions, and leadership best‑practice support. Leaders can also tag team members directly in conversations, making it easier to ask questions about specific individuals, surface relevant context, and keep discussions organized. Users will see the AI Assistant icon at the top right of every page in Laudio. Review this article to learn more about the Laudio AI Assistant.

Patient Rounding Updates. Search on the Patient Rounding Dashboard is now faster, broader, and far more forgiving, making it easy for leaders to find any patient they have access to — without needing to know the unit first. The updated search looks across every patient in the user’s permission scope, not just the ones currently visible on the page, and matches on patient name or MRN with full fuzzy matching. Partial names, small typos, or incomplete MRNs still surface the right patient.

This update directly addresses one of the most common pain points in rounding: the old search only scanned the current page and filter set. If a leader didn’t know the patient’s unit, the search returned nothing, forcing them to check units one by one. Now, leaders can simply type what they remember — a name fragment, a partial MRN — and immediately reach the correct patient profile.
